My friend Nic asked me to do some character designs for a project for a VBS Summer Camp type thing he's helping lead. Here's the final designs. The fun part was that each of the designs was based on a particular real-world person! 

Even cave-men got to pack a little extra heat sometimes!

My friends took a shot at making their own golden/silver age comic book team, so here is my take on one of their characters, the Blue Topaz!   The attitude may very well be far two swarthy for their hero character, but when I started sketching, that is what I ended up drawing!
