What would happen if Joss Whedon tried to kill off Jane from Firefly??? All the fans would riot. That's what would happen! 

So this image isn't about any hate for Jane, but it was an idea that came about amidst a sea of Firefly fans!

I sat in the Browncoats panel at San Diego Comic-Con this last week, hoping against hope to see if a cast member would show their support and grace the panel with a visit! Nathan Fillion apparently did last year so that meant it could happen again... Right???

Aaand nobody showed. Where's the love for us fans?

Anyway, as I sat there hearing about all the cool Firefly swag I couldn't afford, I dreamed up this image for a Firefly teaser comic-cover that would definitely pull all the fans in to read the issue. Alas, it will probably never be as Joss keeps saying he's not up for writing new content in comics form.
Sad. So sad.
